Here are some pictures of the kids doing a gallery walk of The Make project for Cells. They had to write down what other groups wrote as the connections between cell parts to see if there were any different ways parts are connected. I work with 6th graders, some of whom needed further reinforcement on the Mind Map activity. As an extension, we designed extra samples of how to fit in the words. In one, we even added two controlled variables instead of just one. Students were engaged by the comics and were proudly able to share out their correct labels
